Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty), sometimes called eyelid lift, aims to re-establish the correct functioning of both upper and lower eyelids. It can be performed on adults of all ages.

Blepharoplasty is an outpatient operation performed under local anaesthesia or general anaesthesia. The lower eyelid surgery is performer under analgosedation during a half day hospitalisation. Bruising and swelling will slowly disappear within 14 days after the treatment.
