Procedure details
Liposuction: Permanently removes stubborn fat deposits from problematic areas such as the stomach and flanks (love handles) resulting in a sleeker, sculpted midsection.
Abdominoplasty: Flattens and tightens the stomach by removing excess fat, skin and scars, as well as knitting the abdominal muscles back together if they have separated during pregnancy.
Breast lift: Raises and reshapes the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the breast tissue giving them a firmer, more youthful appearance and correcting any asymmetry.
Breast augmentation: Either implants or fat transfer is used to make the breasts bigger and fuller and improve shape and symmetry.
Breast reduction: removes skin, glandular tissue and fat to reduce and reshape the breasts.
Depending on which mummy makeover procedures you choose, surgery will take between 3 and 6 hours. You can expect a recovery time of 2 to 3 weeks, including complete rest for the first week (you will spend 3 nights in the clinic and the following 4 nights in a nearby hotel). You can resume sports and strenuous exercise after 6 to 12 weeks, unless your surgeon advises otherwise.
